About Us
Journey is a Christian, community-minded church that is both biblically faithful and culturally relevant. We've heard so many comments that church is not relevant, it's boring, all they want is money, I don't trust the leaders, and the list goes on and on. God has led us to start a new church that encourages people on their spiritual journey to take
the next step, in a non-judgmental way. We want to help people connect and grow closer to Jesus. At Journey, God is real, people are real, and we want to help others know that Jesus can make a real difference in their lives too. For accountability and networking purposes, we have relationships with Great Lakes Church Planting, the Willow Creek Association, Convergence Worldwide, and Oakbrook Church.
We realize that you may want to get to know us a little bit before you come. The “About JCC” pages will help to orient you about our church, what’s important, who we are, and perhaps answer some questions.
