What To Expect

Checking out a church for the first time can be a scary thing! You never know quite what to expect... what should you wear to fit in? How long will the service last? Will they make you give money or make small talk with people you've never met? To help answer some of these questions, we've put together what we call the "User-Friendly Guide to Journey Community Church."  Here it is...

First... Relax!
JCC's a pretty laid-back place. We want to welcome you, but we won’t overwhelm you. Dress casually People at JCC wear everything from jeans and T-shirts to skirts and dress shoes... but the majority of people dress pretty casually. You be the judge. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in and you'll fit in just fine!

Bring your kids!
We offer children's programs for kids birth through 5th grade. We have age-appropriate classes for each age level (infants, toddlers, and elementary age), often including music, games, creative Bible teaching and other fun stuff! For more information on JourneyLand, please click here. If you would prefer to keep your children with you in the service, that's great too! No need to worry about your kids crying or talking... there are tons of young families at JCC and everyone understands that kids make some noise! If you'd like, we provide activity packets for the kids that stay in the service.

Have a good time
Our Sunday morning services last about an hour (give or take a few minutes). They usually include music led by one of our worship teams, along with a down-to-earth and relevant message that shows how the Bible applies to our every day lives. Some services might involve a drama or a video. We believe it's definitely okay to laugh and have a good time at church.

Enjoy a drink on the house
We have coffee, hot chocolate, donuts and other treats before and after each service... feel free to enjoy a snack and/or to meet some new people!

Get the info you want
We have an Information Center at the table when you walk in where you can get free books and other helpful stuff. Make sure you pick up some brochures in the brochure rack about the different ministries happening here at JCC.

Please help us know how to help you.
Please let us know how we can serve you and your family! Fill out a communication card that’s included in the Sunday morning bulletins or

Get the inside scoop!
Actually, there isn't really an "inside" scoop... we're pretty open about everything that's going on at JCC and there aren't any inside circles. If you have questions about the church, don't hesitate to ask. And if you'd like to get together with Pastor Mark to talk about the church, faith, or life, he'd love to chat with you! Just give him a call at 920-336-7418
Hope to see you on a Sunday morning!
